What the assessment evaluates and why it matters

 

 

The Prevue Assessments measure three key areas: abilities, motivations, and personality. Together, these results create a more complete picture of how someone learns, works, and the types of roles they will thrive in.

 

Abilities

Prevue's Aptitude Assessment is divided into three sections that measure specific abilities and overall learning and reasoning potential.

  • Working with Words measures verbal reasoning, or your ability to understand and use written language. This is important in roles that involve reading, writing, and following instructions.
  • Working with Numbers measures numerical reasoning, or your ability to understand and work with numbers. This is especially relevant in roles involving data, calculations, or problem-solving.
  • Working with Shapes measures spatial reasoning, or your ability to visualize and work with shapes and objects in your mind. This can be important in roles that involve organizing, arranging, or working with physical or visual elements.

 

Motivations

Prevue's Motivations Assessment looks at the types of work you're naturally drawn to. It measures preference rather than performance, helping identify the kinds of tasks and work environments you may find most engaging.

This can be especially helpful for candidates with limited work experience, and it can also highlight roles or paths that may be a strong fit.

 

Personality

Prevue's Personality Assessment looks at traits that influence how you tends to think, behave, and interact with others. These traits can play an important role in workplace fit and performance, especially in roles that involve communication, teamwork, leadership, or customer interaction.

The assessment helps measure how well someone’s natural behavioral style aligns with the needs of a role. It can also provide helpful insight into development opportunities and the types of work environments that may be the best fit.

The Prevue Personality Assessment is based on the Big Five personality model, a widely used framework for understanding the core traits that shape behavior.
